February 13, 2026 We harvested our lettuce. We ate some in class and then sent home bags of lettuce for them to share with their families.
We also got a response from one of the parents and they appreciated the lettuce that was sent home and said it was much fresher than from the store.
January 29, 2026 Our lettuce is different colors this round, ranging from green to purple. Students measured the lettuce plants. Made predictions about the size of the roots in comparison and then measured the roots.
February 2, 2026 We measured some more to see if our predictions still held true.
We started our hydroponics unit again today in math. We are growing a salad mix this time.
I started my unit at home on the 12/28. I planted some of Linwoods wild bergamot and I got it to sprout. I also started some of his echinacea outside.
